College Mommas

Once upon a time, I was a college student. That decade (ahem) or so ago really flew by, didn't it?Last weekend, I had the chance to go to a Sip 'n See for one of my college roommates, Felicia. I just love babies (newsflash). And, it was great fun to love on Andrew and then come home and get a good night's sleep. It was really, really great to see Felicia. Back in college while I was, well, being a ...

Soccer Anyone?

Saturday the craziness began. But, boy was it fun crazy. The boys' games were on fields next to one another (lucky for us) and back-to-back. Sibling Love

I just couldn't let the day slip away without telling this cute story. This morning, we headed out to the grocery store. A highlight of the trip is earning a "Buddy Buck" which can be inserted into a game and the kids get to "grab" a plastic ball with a numbered sticker inside. Yes, before I had children I always wondered what the big fuss was over this thing. I'm still not sure, but it's a great incentive for good behavior ...

Howdy!

... and welcome to the chaos. I know a thing or two about big families (I've got 6 kids), carpool, Catholic converts, the Texas Aggies, prematurity, date nights with Mr. Whitaker, organization and party planning, but I still don't know why it's so hard for my kids to  put up their shoes. My Texas-sized heart is honored to have you here! Contact me at kathrynwhitakertx@gmail.com
