Sibling Love

I just couldn't let the day slip away without telling this cute story. This morning, we headed out to the grocery store. A highlight of the trip is earning a "Buddy Buck" which can be inserted into a game and the kids get to "grab" a plastic ball with a numbered sticker inside. Yes, before I had children I always wondered what the big fuss was over this thing. I'm still not sure, but it's a great incentive for good behavior ...

Thank you Mr. Postman!

Look what came in the mail!! You might remember the mad-dash painting spree from this post. This has definitely become a new family tradition.

But, there are a few things I've learned from watching the games and I thought they were worth sharing. Before you get started, I should point out that the mere fact I have an Olympic top ten ...

Howdy!

... and welcome to the mess. I know a thing or two about big families (I've got 6 kids + a daughter-in-law), carpool, grief, Jesus, the Texas Aggies, prematurity, marriage counseling, decluttering and party planning, but I still don't know why it's so hard for my kids to put up their shoes. My Texas-sized heart is honored to have you here!
