Top Ten: Little Known Campaign Issues

Well, sorry I'm late in the day on getting the top ten list out. Many of my clients are campus ministry programs and they're all on spring break next week. So, they all had a conference call and decided to send me work the same week. That was so nice of them to coordinate, wasn't it? And, Scott is Mr. Fundraiser the next few months. All good causes, mind you, but he's busy. And for a family who's love language ...

Questions

Who knew our 6- and 4-year-old could have such thought-pondering questions? Cases in point:"Mom, are you going to vote for Obama?"We've gotten a couple of mailers and a handful of calls asking us to vote for your brother's sister's cousin twice-removed here lately. And, I guess Will heard Scott and I talking. I think Scott heard it said best the other night on one of the news channels. John McCain was asked if he thought that Obama or Clinton would ...

Weekend Wrap-up

Friday night Scott and I enjoyed dinner with friends up in Georgetown. The boys camped out at Uncle Daniel and Aunt Amanda's (again) and had a blazing good time. Y'all rock. They keep asking when they can go back and spend some quality time with them and XBox 360. Dad watched the girls and he got to see some Anna-Laura attitude. Gee, she's so independent and we have NO idea what family member she's learning that from - any guesses?Saturday, ...

Howdy!

... and welcome to the mess. I know a thing or two about big families (I've got 6 kids + a daughter-in-law), carpool, grief, Jesus, the Texas Aggies, prematurity, marriage counseling, decluttering and party planning, but I still don't know why it's so hard for my kids to put up their shoes. My Texas-sized heart is honored to have you here!
