I deserved that.
I just had to say the "super" thing and God was sure to show me He has a sense of humor. I hestitate to say it was a bad mom day, the kids were at Parents' Day Out until 12:30. And, I got to have lunch with my mom and Clare. Not bad. Naps were pretty good. The venture to get Will from school, totally normal. Even the playing outside and dinnertime went relatively well. But, boy, at 6:30, the wheels ...
Top Ten: WWSD? (What Would Supermom Do?)
I don't know!! There are days I feel like a supermom, other days...well, I feel like CPS could be knocking at my door any moment. I have no doubt every mom I know feels the same.God has blessed me with many superwomen in my life - some shepherd a flock of 11 and some a flock of 1. Either way, they're all super in my book. They've taught me many lessons. Some advice I've been too stubborn to heed and ...
Clare Bear – belated update!
While the blog didn't recognize the 18- and 19-month marks, they didn't go unnoticed around here. Weird.Anyhoo, the black-caped crusader invaded our house and the kids had a blast. We made bat planes (which I thought they would love because they could ...

I hope you enjoy your big day and here's to many, many more happy days.TOP TEN: BEST MOMENTS FROM THE WEDDING1. The hair appointments. Amanda's other bridesmaids brought mimosas. Score.2. It’s the little things
Last week, I was shlepping outside to take out the trash, but just as I turned to head back into the house, I looked up and saw this. Who knew taking a poopy diaper to the trashman could be so beautiful?

... and welcome to the chaos. I know a thing or two about big families (I've got 6 kids), carpool, Catholic converts, the Texas Aggies, prematurity, date nights with Mr. Whitaker, organization and party planning, but I still don't know why it's so hard for my kids to put up their shoes. My Texas-sized heart is honored to have you here! Contact me at kathrynwhitakertx@gmail.com
