Happy (Belated) Mother’s Day!

I took a blogging break, and I’ve been procrastinating downloading the photos.  Sorry I’m late.

Sheez, I could write a book on how much this mother’s day meant to me.  Maybe I already have?!?  At any rate, it was just another day around here.  The kids argued, I did laundry, went grocery shopping, cleaned hineys and broke up fights.  But, I also enjoyed a delish brunch, courtesy of my mom, hung out with the fam, took a two-hour nap (total highlight by the way), opened some very heartfelt gifts from the kids and felt very loved by my significant other.

I was thinking so many things as the day approached.  In fact, it may just be worthy of a top ten motherhood post tomorrow.

Hope your day was fabulous.  For many, I know the day is bittersweet.  My dad spent his first day without his mom, many friends spent the day mourning the loss of a child taken too soon, others anxiously await adoption and still others struggle with infertility.  To them I say, you will be reunited, comforted and rewarded.  Our God is an awesome God.

My mamacita 🙂

Hi! My name is Beth and I found your blog via a blog search for tethered cord. My 6 1/2 year old son has been diagnosed with a tethered cord and we are preparing for surgery for him this summer. He also has Chiari Malformation and had surgery to decompress him 2 years ago. I realize my son is much older than your little guy, but any tips you have or are willing to share would be very much appreciated.

Praying for you and your son.

    Beth
