Craftiness

Vote for Luke!  If a nun is voting for him as Preemie of the Year (shout out to Sr. Maria Gemma), shouldn’t you? 🙂  Cutest cowboy there is.  Hand to Hold, the non-profit sponsoring the contest, is an awesome organization.  Prematurity was something we never thought would happen to “us.”  Then, it did.  Luke is alive because of prayers, his rockstar doctors and modern technology.  My sanity is alive because of H2H.

Because I’m all crafty like that, and because I saw this wreath and thought, “That is super cute”, I just went out and did it.  I found a new blog to love, Whipperberry.  I’m not really the gore and Halloween type, I prefer pretty fall decorations like pumpkins and hay.  This wreath was perfect.  Nod to candy corn, a great treat, but something you can leave up all fall long.  It took me a few 30 minute spurts throughout the day, but the kids helped me and I love the way it turned out.  They’re just as proud of it as I am!

Happy fall, y’all.  I can accurately say that now that our last 90-degree day was yesterday.  60s today!!
