Holy (Maundy) Thursday

Oh, I don’t know about you, but this week just feels different.  Mostly in a good way.  I have so many blog posts floating around in my noggin.  So many crazy, wonderful, heart-changing things have happened in the last week.  I find that as no coincidence.

Next week.  Next week.

Today is all about the foot washing and the Last Supper.  Two years ago, I wrote about a family tradition we started.  We’ve kept it up and I am already tearing up thinking about doing it again with the kids tonight.  This year will be a little different in that the bigs will go to Mass with Scott while I keep the littles at home after the foot washing.  As happy as I’ll be when we can all attend Mass together, I will also be sad.  So very, very sad.  It’s mighty hard to close a chapter, isn’t it?

Make tonight holy for your family.  It all starts at home.
