Before & After: Part V – The Girls’ Room!

Oh my, this was fun.  The girls’ room was a completely blank slate when we moved into the house.  After recarpeting the room and painting, it looked like a totally different room.  Thank the good Lord.  I don’t do white walls.

We found an uuber cute chandelier at the Pottery Barn outlet that Scott cleaned up and installed, some fun bedspreads at Land of Nod, a piece of art painted by a dear high school friend and some girly knick knacks.  Pink is definitely the color of choice (just ask my parents about my room color growing up 🙂

What fun.

Before (I know, my comment was “wake me when the boring is over”)

And, if you’ll recall they have their own bathroom (awesome) and the biggest closet this side of Dallas.  They will definitely appreciate the room choice when they’re sweet 16.  Girl power!
