SNOW…in Austin!

Hey, we lived in the midwest and we know snow.  Like big huge piles and inches and inches of snow.  Central Texas can not boast of that kind of snow.  But we did get some of those beautiful, fat flakes on Tuesday.  It was glorious!

My kids thought they hit a home run.  They came in from school and went right back out to build their snowmen.  Luke and I sat in the front room, drinking hot chocolate watching them have the time of their lives.  The snowbirds came in long enough to suck down some hot chocolate themselves and then went right back out again.  Clare enjoyed eating the snow, ALG wasn’t particularly fond of it and the boys couldn’t get enough of it.  They wanted to build more but ran out of the white stuff.

Memories.  Oh the memories.
Tuesday was a good mom day.  The kind that I’ll tuck away in my memory cap as “what a fun day”and that the kids will remember for a lifetime.  I love those kind of days.  They keep you sane.

Thank you for snow Mother Nature.  You made our year.
