Graduation
Um, yeah, so this one is like 6 weeks overdue. I promise I thought I already posted this. Guess not. I’m totally blaming it on pregnancy brain.
John Paul’s PK graduation was a hoot. I could see my sister-in-law at the end of the pew wondering what all the fuss was about. You just wait until it’s your kiddo walking up that aisle 🙂 And, yes, that will happen in a flash.
They sang, they looked cute and they “graduated” to kindergarten. Now that means I’ll have two in school come August. For you parentals out there with none in school, get ready for the childhood fast track once you send them skipping to school. If you thought the infant phase was fast, you ‘ain’t seen nothing yet. How’s that for some good grammar?
For those of you with ones in school, hat tips to you. This school thing is hard work. We’re already trying to figure out the homework spot for both the boys. Man, I’m getting queasy thinking about that fun hour. I’ll stop. It’s summer. That will be on my agenda in another 7 weeks or so.
John Paul loved the attention (shocking) and we loved watching him in his element. I think he’s the only one of my kids who actually does the motions and digs being in front of a crowd. Hmmm, sounds like a certain daddy yell leader…
It was fun buddy. Thanks for giving us lots of smiles. We love you…off to kindergarten!!
Not to sound too much like a hallmark card, but everyday these moments are blowing past us. For me it is the hardest part of being a parent, but I do love watching what new adventures will happen next. That is why I love blogs, I get to keep my finger on the pulse of all this "growing up"!
Congratulations JP! Katherine soak up all the summer you can!
