A Day of Honor

“No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
John 15:13

Today, we remember and we honor all those men and women who served our country. For our family, it’s a little more personal than that.

WWII: Thank you Papa.

WWII: Thank you Grandpa Toots.

Korean War: Thank you Uncle Joe Mack.

Gulf Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom x2: Thank you cousin John.

Vietnam: Thank you Dad.

There are many brave men and women in the world, but in our household, none are braver than those 5. We can’t possibly understand the sacrifice each of you made. All I have to offer is my thanks and my prayers. We love you today – and everyday. It’s because of you that we live in freedom.
