It’s a Wrap

Is anybody else out there as sad as we are? Spring Break is officially over. (insert heavy sobbing here) Goodbye showers at 10am, goodbye late night ice cream, goodbye “let’s wait until tomorrow to give the kids a bath” nights, goodbye late night HGTV, we’ll see you this summer…

But, there’s still a few hours left of this glorious week and I would be remiss without sharing some of our best photos from the Zilker adventure on Wednesday. When you have 4 kids under 6, a 20-minute ride downtown is as “spring-breaky” as it gets. As it turns out, though, it was the kids’ favorite. Hah, who needs Disneyworld?

In no particular cuteness order, here they are!

I love this one of Scott and Clare, don’t know why, just so cute.

This pond path was really cool (see the koi fish in the pond?) I’m surprised they’re still alive actually. The boys were a “wee bit” excited about this part of the garden.

This was the reflection which I flipped in Photoshop. Very cool.

Attack of the butterflies. This was our last stop at the garden and the kids couldn’t get enough of the butterflies. The afternoon sun rocked and they were good sports letting us take their pictures. Sometimes they cooperate and those are the days you call yourself a good parent…

Those pictures are so cute. Man, I am sure jealous of the weather there.
