The Book Tour Starts Today!
Y’all. A book tour sounds so…fancy.
It’s only happening because of you. If you’re Rachel Hollis, I’m sure you have a book tour manager and they do all the things. But, I’m just Kathryn, with no tour budget, no fancy first-class airplane vouchers and no assistant. I’m just willing to hustle because y’all are willing to do the same.
Below is the tour, with dates and places. The details (like times and exact locations) are all on the speaking page and I’ll be sure to announce them as they happen on social media, especially Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Unless it’s noted on the speaking page, the majority of these events are free and open to anyone. I’m already blown away by how many of you are making roadtrips with your girlfriends to enjoy the fun!
I tried to balance the importance of my family needing a mom around the house to be chef and chauffeur with my desire to share this book and all of God’s greatness with you. Make no mistake, my family is making sacrifices, but we believe they are worth it. To everyone who reached out, thank you. That was incredibly humbling. This is happening and I’m so excited!
Here it is, y’all! Those dates/places with an asterisk are book signings only.

It was also lots of fun to share the joy with dear friends and family at our house last Friday. I’m still unpacking that avalanche of love. Enjoy the photos!
Kathryn, my Labor Day weekend was spent with your book in my hand every free minute I had, loving every word. you had me at the first “ya’ll!”!!! I’m so so very happy for you and all the goodness God is raining down on you!! sending big love your way.
Got your book this week from Amazon. I absolutely loved it. I guess people in the school pick up line were wondering what I was reading as sometimes I was laughing out loud and others I couldn’t hold back the tears. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Hope there are more books in the future.
Hi Kathryn,
It’s the other Whitaker family from St. Theresa’s :). I live in Lubbock and will try to make your stop in Amarillo on Monday. Where will it be held and may I purchase your book there? Been following your book journey via your blog and looking forward to seeing you. Dana
Hi Dana!! It’s at St. Mary’s Cathedral from 6-8pm in Amarillo and YES, I’ll have books! It will be so wonderful to see you.
SO excited for you! That is quite a schedule and I wish there was a trip to Canada on it so I could finally see you in person but instead I will pray for you and your family during this exciting time. All the best and thank you as always for sharing your beautiful heart. It means a lot and I know it has helped me and others lean in closer to God.
Praise the Lord for the digital sphere – am I right? I’ll take those prayers!
Kathryn, I was going to drive an hour and a half up to Sacramento to meet you and hear your Texan accent in person. I was going to ask my friend Kim to join me, and then Kim, my oh so amazing Ninja Catholic friend, sent me a text saying, “Guess who is coming to Oakdale?” I am so excited! I loved reading your book! I left an Amazon review and that’s not something this introvert does. Your story was inspiring and a magnificent testimony of faith and love. Faith, hope, and love!
Well, that’s doubly awesome! CA is going to be so much fun.
I am so excited for you. Of course when you come to the Quad Cities is one of the big ones. (Peoria/Washington with Mary AND Bonnie.) And obviously, there’s a soccer game that precludes my attendance. But I loved the book, my oven is clean and I am praying for you to have a safe book tour.
Hey, clean ovens count for something!! Enjoy that soccer game. We’ll miss you, but totally understand.
I can’t believe you’re coming to my city!! (Carmel, IN). Do you have info yet on where you’ll be? The speaking page link took me to a 504 error.
My former parish! The link is working now. I’ll be at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel from 9am-12pm (no tickets necessary) and then at Turn the Page in Westfield from 2-4pm. It will be a great day!

Are you coming to Iowa at all?
Not this trip! But hopefully God’s plan is to send me back because we really loved it there!
