These ten ideas are beautiful, tasteful and sure to be your son or daughter's new favorite religious keepsake.

First Communion Bowl + free domestic shipping | Clarey Clayworks
I first discovered Anne on Pinterest when I was searching for gifts for my oldest daughter, back in 2013. Since then, we’ve discovered we have many friends in common (she’s an Indy gal!) and I am oh-so-hoping life allows me to meet her this summer. But, back to her talents. Anne handcrafts each bowl and they are really, truly, beyond lovely. She’s since added different colors for the crosses (Clare is going to dig the purple) and even more beautiful things to her shop. Bottom line? This bowl makes a perfect gift. Your child can display a special rosary or simply just keep it out as a beautiful reminder of their important day. And, I always recommend having it blessed by your priest – an added touch to a really perfect gift. Anne is also offering a 10% OFF COUPON CODE: TEAMWHIT

Saints (your choice of 5 saints) | Tiny Saints
When I stumbled upon Tiny Saints a couple of years ago, it was immediate love at first sight. Y’all. These things are cute, functional and virtually indestructible. Pretty much perfect for our house. Joe and his wife, Colleen, have dreamed up the most brilliant idea. My kids clip their saints to their backpacks, Gianna has two on her diaper bag (Gianna and Therese, of course!) and Pope Francis hangs on our rearview mirror. These are my go-to gift for so many occasions. Best part? Tiny Saints is offering a 10% OFF COUPON CODE: TEAMWHITAKER10

Rosary (shop credit) | Trendy Traditions
Melanie is another artisan I met online. Her eye for beauty is really a gift. She creates some stunning rosaries. I think the thing I love most about Melanie is when you receive your rosary in the mail, you can feel the love that went into making it. I’ve ordered so many rosaries from her, and for good reason. They are works of art. I’ve gifted them for baptisms, First Communions, RCIA and graduation. You will love these. She doesn’t do coupons often and this is her last one before before summer hits! Trendy Traditions is offering a 15% OFF COUPON CODE: TEAMWHITAKER (now through 4/25/15).

Rosary Bag | Drawstrings/CinchIt
Wanda and her sewing machine make some really lovely things. I think after seeing her bag, below, you’ll agree. We own several of her bags for our girls, both backpacks and laundry bags, and love them all. When you buy your child a rosary, especially a special one, you want the bag that stores it to be equally special. Enter, Wanda and her beauty. This small rosary-sized bag (I know, that fabric!) is just perfect, isn’t it? I mean, who needs wrapping paper with something that pretty! Drawstrings/CinchIt is offering a 10% OFF COUPON CODE: KWHITAKER10 (through 4/20)

Cross Necklace and Matching Bracelet | Ellabead
Carmen is related to a friend of mine from elementary school. I know, complicated. She makes necklaces and bracelets that I just adore. We wore them in our family pictures a couple of years ago and I reached out to her and asked if she’d create one for just y’all. And she said yes! I mean, how great is that? This matching cross necklace and bracelet will be the perfect addition to a First Communion dress. Carmen, a million thank you’s for honoring my request and creating something so simple and elegant. (And, if you happen to be a Disney lover, she has some really cool things in her shop – swoon!) Ellabead is offering a $10 COUPON OFF YOUR ENTIRE PURCHASE: TEAMWHITAKER10

Veil (10% off your purchase) | Dainties by Denise
In my search for the *perfect* veil two years ago, I found Denise. Or rather, the Holy Spirit found Denise for me. She’s the mom and grandmother of many girls and took her talents to Etsy. Anna-Laura’s headband, with a detachable veil turned out even prettier than I imagined. Denise puts a lot of love into her work. It’s a real honor to have her participate in this special giveaway for y’all. We’ve shared some beautiful e-mail exchanges and her faith is a reminder to me that our most important lesson in life is to love. Denise is offering a 10% OFF COUPON CODE: TEAMWHITAKER2015

At last year’s Edel Gathering, I finally met *the* Shannon of Organic Mama’s Shop. She’s the mama of six (as of this weekend!) and boy, do I love her things. She’s got everything from nursing bracelets and teething necklaces (Gianna adores hers) to really, really, really beautiful rosary bracelets. I can’t even tell you how many compliments I get on mine. So, perhaps this gift is for you, mom of the First Communicant. I won’t tell a soul. Organic Mama’s Shop is offering a 20% OFF COUPON CODE: TEAMWFHC

Mass Kit | St. Luke’s Brush
Around Lent, I saw all sorts of peg saint dolls. Mine are still in the box. Unpainted. Another blog post, another time. But Amy and Garry of St. Luke’s Brush have you all set for First Communion. We both agreed that First Communion calls for a very special gift and we settled on their new Mass set. Gah! I know, I was excited, too. So, while I don’t personally have a Mass set, I have seen their handiwork and it is beyond words. My friend Lisa introduced me to St. Luke’s and I will forever be grateful.

Boys’ Tie and Girls’ Veil on Comb | Lace and Grace Veils
Eileen was one of the only places I could find sweet First Communion ties on all the interwebs! How I wish I’d known about her when my boys were celebrating First Communion. I love that her ties commemorate such a special day with a tasteful cross and they could certainly be worn for other special occasions. Eileen was generous enough to offer a veil, as well. Isn’t that sweet?

$50 Shop Credit | Style Co. Events
Carolina, a dear friend of mine here in Austin, began a party planning business a little over a year ago, Style Co. Events. Y’all know how I love to party. A few weeks ago, I finally had a chance to lay my eyes on some of the things Carolina and her business partner style, create and design. Amy Atlas, the “queen of dessert tables” has nothing on them. I mean that. You can use your shop credit for a furniture rental, party styling or the whole shebang. This one is just for my local Austin folks, so if the winner of the giveaway isn’t local, I’ll do a separate giveaway just for this. You only have to do one thing: promise to send me pictures of your party!
