HDYDI: End-of-Year Teacher Gifts + FREE Printable!

The close of school is, well, close. Back when I was nesting and actually got things done, I whipped these gifts together for all my kids’ teachers. Now, I just sit on the couch and nurse. HA!

If you’re looking for a simple, inexpensive, meaningful gift for your child’s teachers, then I may just have your answer. It’s no secret I adore Tiny Saints and because my children attend Catholic school this year’s gift seemed like a no-brainer. Even if your kids don’t attend Catholic school, these would make a great gift for the RE teacher, your child’s catechist or even a confirmation sponsor. Oh, and no this is NOT a sponsored post. I just love the simplicity and meaning behind these gifts!

end of year teacher gift

I had my children write a short note on the back of the printable and to make it even more personal, I did one very simple thing. I asked each teacher the name of their favorite saint and that’s who we chose to add to the bag. The charms can be clipped on a plethora of things – rosary, key chain, backpack, briefcase, bracelet, necklace, purse – and are gender neutral.

What you need:

Raffia
Clear gift bag
Ribbon or jute rope
Tiny Saint
Cardstock
Hole punch
Corner punch

I just put the raffia in the bottom of the bag, inserted the saint and then tied the bag with jute rope. Half way through the tie, I slipped the printable on the rope and finished the bow. I did round the bottom of the printable with a corner cutter, but you don’t have to get *that* fancy. It doesn’t get easier than that. AND, here’s the printable (Teacher Gift Tag_group) if you’d like to do your own.

Happy {almost} end-of-year, y’all!
