Aggieland

We hadn’t planned on it, but four tickets became available for the Idaho game and we immediately rearranged our plans.  Scott took the “bigs” and I hear they tore it up in the Holyland.  The Former Yell Leaders Association always hosts a tailgate before and after every game.  A few minutes into the kids’ stop there, Will found the only mud puddle in Brazos County, thus, he got to wear a good friend’s t-shirt for the game (thanks John!)  Aside from the mud, I think the kids (and Scott) were beside themselves with joy at being back in Aggieland.  What’s not to love, right?

The band.  Kyle Field.  The atmosphere.  The WIN.  The old friend sightings.  The “energy” in College Station on gameday.  There’s no mistaking it.  Hopefully, in a few years, after we’ve saved up enough money we can all go to a game.  HAHA.  Games aren’t as cheap as they used to be!

Scott decided to stay until the very end and let the kids go down on the field after the game.  They’re still talking about it.  Someday, I hope the kids remember days like that with their dad.  I may be hard core Aggie, but nobody loves the Ags more than my husband.  WHOOP!
