Happy Birthday Scott!!

Oh, to the love of my life, happy birthday.

Did you ever think this was the way we’d celebrate your birthday…holding our newest addition for the 32nd day in the NICU?  Yeah, me neither.

Amidst all the nutso, I want you to know these things…

I wake up every morning and get a flutter in my heart knowing that we get to live life as husband and wife another day.

I see you playing and joking with the kids and think to myself, ‘Man, our kids are so blessed to have a dad that’s as fun and loving as him.’

I watch in admiration as you dive into your job with such passion.  You change lives and honor God everyday.

I’ve come to learn that you have a love-hate relationship with the Aggies.  You hate them Sunday thru Friday, but love them again on Saturday (at least until the game’s over anyway).  Once a yell leader, always a yell leader 🙂

I love that when you tell me that you love me, it sounds the same way it did 13+ years ago on our wedding day.

I love that you clean toilets without being asked.

I think it’s pretty awesome that I can trust you with the laundry.

I’m thankful that we can finish one another’s sentences.

You. Are. Awesome.

Here’s to 37 years (17 with me) and to many, many, many more…

Happy Birthday, Scott. You both are an inspiration to the Sacrament of Marriage.
