Last night in Rome
Well folks, thanks for hanging with us. We are staying in Rome tonight and leave tomorrow morning for USA. While our trip was so much fun we are looking forward to being back in America.We miss our children and can't wait to see everyone. Can anyone say Sonic cherry Coke with lots of ice?!?!Stay tuned for the Wednesday top ten as Kathryn takes over the blog. I am sure it will be a doozy.
Chartres
We took the train to a little city south of Paris today to visit a beautiful gothic church with the most amazing stained glass windows. We are headed back on the train to go back to Notre Dame for the veneration of the crown of thorns. It is only done on Fridays during Lent so we are very lucky.
A taste of Paris

Paris
Kathryn is here in Rome now and we are headed out to Paris. We can't wait for our time together. It was so good to see her walk up in the Rome airport. I felt like I was 21 again meeting up with a beautiful woman in Europe.
Assisi! Day seven.
Today we travelled to one of my favorite sites in all of Italy. Assisi is this little town famous for two very important saints in our Church - Francis and Clare. There is not enough time to tell you about these great people. So just enjoy the photos.Kathryn arrives in the morning and I couldn't be happier!
