Join me in Portugal, Spain & France in 2026!
We’re 365 days from departure (that’s exciting) so if you’ve been looking for a reason to get your spot secured, I hope you’ll take advantage of that discount. The women of SiriusXM Radio (Rachel, Katie and I, along with our husbands, along with Fr. Patrick Mary and Danielle), are really looking forward to a spectacular pilgrimage next summer. Here’s a few sneak peeks of what to expect…
Some things you’ll see in Lisbon. Mr. Whitaker and I traveled here for our 20th wedding anniversary and we loved it so much I wanted to make sure we had plenty of time to explore. You’ll enjoy Belem Tower (yes, that’s us!), great pastries and Mass at the birthplace of St. Anthony. The funicular is so unique to experience, as is Fado (totally Google that).

On our way to Fatima, we’ll stop to see the Eucharistic miracle in Santarem. It’s such a meaningful stop. Then, there’s our boat ride and wine tasting in Porto. We’ll enjoy a free evening here and I’m already thinking about ways to make that special.

Then it’s on to Bom Jesus (a UNESCO world heritage site) and our walk on the camino. Don’t let the walk scare you. You’ll earn your token, get great exercise and enjoy some solitude, one of my favorite things on pilgrimage.

Walks hit different in Spain. Just look at this Paseo del Espolon in Burgos. Fan of St. Ignatius? Then you’ll love our time in Loyola.

We’ll end our time in Lourdes, France (wow do I love it there, this is from 2021!). It’s just…slower. You’ll have time to visit the baths, enjoy the quiet and, I’ll even share my favorite place in all of Europe to buy the most gorgeous jewelry.

BUT if you don’t want it to end, join us for the three-day extension to Paris and Lisieux where we will behold the beauty of the newly restored Notre Dame Cathedral and take a day trip to see the birthplace of St. Therese. I’m so grateful that I get to share some of my past experience traveling to these beautiful countries, and then make new memories with each of you. What a gift!
