Coming to an Internet Near You…
Because I believe more people need the word y’all in their lives.
Most of you know I write devotionals for a great site called Blessed is She (BIS). More than 12,000 subscribers receive daily devotionals and I really hope you’re one of them.
Recently, BIS began offering memberships that give you access to monthly workshops (some months have more than 1!) as well as Lenten and Advent prayer journals shipped straight to your door. You can learn more about membership here. The cost is $99/year, but if that doesn’t fit in your budget, you can simply purchase the workshops that you’d like to hear for $15 and prayer journals for $20/each.
I believe, wholeheartedly, in the mission of BIS. And, that’s why I’m so dang excited to share I’ll be one of the workshop presenters this week, on August 4, at 8pm CST. I’ll be chatting about Raising a Holy Family: From Toddler to Teen. No, that doesn’t mean I’m an expert. I’ll be sharing the mistakes we’ve made, how we found our groove, some ideas on finding what works for your family and being at peace with the path you choose. Fair warning, I’ll probably have to spell some words. The twang is real.
And, yes, I’ll have my sweet tea handy. Please join me, I’d love to have a great group of women supporters out there!
You can sign up to receive BIS devotionals, activate your membership, get connected to your regional group on Facebook, as well as follow them on Twitter and Instagram (my favorite!). Trust me, it’s a welcome sight to see such inspiration on social media.
See y’all soon!
I won’t be able to watch it live due to a commitment, but I am looking forward to watching it afterwards. My question would be this: What is the best way to thrive in thise seasons when the age of your child is particularly hard for you to handle? For example, I am a former high school teacher, and while I love my kids, spending all day with a four month old, a four year old and a six year old is just not my cup of tea. I’m not trying to wish away these years, I’m just looking for wisdom on how to lean into them.
That is an awesome question, Ann-Marie. I’ll answer it in Thursday’s workshop and then come back here to write it all down. God bless you girl, I HAVE BEEN THERE. Virtual fist bumps.
Thank you for the reminder. I just signed up for the year. Looking forward to hearing your workshop talk. Blessings from Dripping Springs.
Hooray! *See* you Thursday.
