“I ate them even though they were disgusting.”
Anna-Laura on lima beans. Gee, thanks honey.
“You can’t rush art.”
John Paul in response to Anna-Laura’s plea for him to “hurry up and draw her picture.”
“Poop.”
Luke’s new word. The kids think it’s hilarious. Now they’ve got him saying it at ridiculously inappropriate times. Eh, that’s what happens when you’re #5.
It’s been a tough few weeks around here. Maybe someday soon I’ll blog about it all, maybe not. John Paul has had some urology stuff going on, Luke has had more feeding challenges – yippee (sarcasm font) and it’s just really wearing on us, me, in particular. What can you do, though? I just gotta keep plowing forward.
We have a great weekend ahead. The Catholic Schools dinner is on Saturday and I’m so excited to spend a little time with Scott and a teeny tiny bit excited to hear an amazing speaker, Matthew Kelly. Word on the street is I even get to sit at his table. Yes, that’s a tap dance on a table you just heard. You may not know the greatness of Matthew, but never fear. I’ll tell you all about him next week! I’ll return, in earnest, with your HDYDI Monday and Top Ten Wednesday. Any requests? Comment below and lemme know. Make it a great weekend!
I would like to hear how you get your prayer into your busy life? Sometimes I can’t even remember to pray at night since I am just too worn out. I need some adivice
Hugs
Speaking of prayer, our son Jonathan will not let a single day go by without prayer. Although, if we accidentally come close to that, he will definitely call us out! Our son is a constant reminder that no matter how busy our lives get, there’s always time to pause, pray and give thanks for what we have. We Love him so much!
