Update 7.28.09
Anyhoo, it was another good round of news. The baby is up to 1lb. 12oz. Yes, Baby W will tip some serious scales with his/her chubbiness. Heart, fluid levels and growth all looked good. We’re still in the low end of the chart, 10%, but we’re ON THE CHART. I’ll take it. We still have the wonky placenta, but it’s doing its job, so I won’t say any other mean things about it.
I go back in for my next check in two weeks, then (because they just can’t get enough of me and the babe), I go in weekly until the big debut. I’m still hoping for 38 weeks. But, we just take it one week at a time. Today, I’m officially 29 weeks – and to think that 9 weeks ago we thought I might already be looking at the baby through the NICU glass at this time. Truly amazing.
Prayers – keep ’em coming. I suppose I should be specific, right? Prayers for good fetal movement, continued growth and good amniotic fluid levels. That’s the ideal trifecta.
Oh, almost forgot…my ticker. Um, it’s skipping and doing some funny things. But, the cardiologist really thinks it’s due to pregnancy. We did the echo and are awaiting the blood results from my thyroid. So far, all normal, well normal is relative. We shall wait and see…
Tomorrow I’ll get you your top ten – any requests? – and then we’ll post some fun staycation pics. John Paul’s stitches are healing quite nicely 🙂
yea! glad to hear all is well. Nate went for almost 42 weeks, and has never hit higher than the 10 percentile since he's been born! happy gestating momma!
